Speaker profiles

David Robertson, Head of Economic and Markets Research, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Ltd

David joined Bendigo Bank 19 years ago as head of Financial Markets, and today is the Head of Economic and Markets Research. His banking career commenced in 1989 as a foreign exchange dealer, and prior to joining Bendigo Bank he worked in a range of senior roles in Treasury for the State Bank of NSW, First Chicago and Commonwealth Bank.

David’s regular economic commentaries and video updates are shared via the bank’s website, YouTube and LinkedIn platforms; and beyond the world of banking and his family, David’s passions lie in golf, the outdoors and thoroughbred racing.

Andrew Burgess, Business Development Manager, Cobram Estate Olives Ltd

Andrew has been involved in the Australian Olive Industry for over 20 years.  He has worked in nearly all areas of olive oil production, including, olive harvesting, olive oil processing, olive nurseries, grove establishment, technical advice and bottling and storage. He is an experienced olive oil taster and judge and is currently a director of the Australian Olive Association.

 

Nicolas Urbin, National Business Manager, Cobram Estate Olives Ltd

Born in France, Nico spent 4 years as a National Account Manager at P&G in Paris before moving to Australia to join Danone to manage the Woolworths account. Nico joined Boundary Bend Olives in 2016 and is now the Sales Manager responsible of all the Grocery business ($100m).  Nico’s qualifications include a Master of Commerce degree from the IESEG School of Management of Lille, France.

Nico is also an accomplished long distance runner and dabbles in stand-up comedy.

The 2 hour session will be held in a Zoom Webinar format. All attendees must register to gain access. A link to the session will be provided to registrants on the 11th of October.
