The July edition of Grove Innovation included details of the AOA Healthy Soils – Healthy and Productive Groves Field Day at Wollundry Grove in the NSW Riverina region. The final in the national series of regional events, the Wollundry Grove field day had been rescheduled from its original date early in the year.

The current lockdown situation in New South Wales has brought a few queries to the AOA office, so to clarify:

AOA CEO Michael Southan and field day organiser Peter McFarlane are anticipating that the event will be held as scheduled, particularly as most attendees will be from the region, rather than travelling in. COVID-safe practices will be instigated as per current requirements and recommendations.

They are, however, keeping a close eye on the changing level and scope of restrictions, and will review the field day arrangements in early September.

Registrants can be assured that if an unexpected cancellation is necessary closer to the scheduled date, any attendance fees paid will be refunded in full.
