The 2013 Olives SA Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Table Olives competitions will be judged on 28 September at the Adelaide Show grounds. Entries close for both on 16 August, with delivery of product from 16-23 September. As in previous years the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of SA Inc (RA&HS) is involved in the running of the competition and will correlate entries, oils and table olive samples. The OSA Table Olives competition will be judged concurrently with the EVOO competition. Trophies will be awarded for Best EVOO of Show overall, Top Gold for smaller producers and Best SA EVOO, along with Best Table Olives of Show. The awards will be announced at a presentation dinner at the Kooyonga Golf Club, Lockleys on 24 October.
