The 2013 Awards Dinner weekend, September 28-29, is being hosted by the Canterbury Regional Group. Saturday commences with a Tasting Seminar from 9am–4pm, led by head judge Sue Langstaff, followed by the Awards Dinner at 7pm. Both events will be held at the Sudima Hotel, Christchurch Airport, with a free shuttle bus from/to the airport. On Sunday 29 there will be an excursion to Akaroa to visit the two previous Best in Show winning olive groves, with lunch in the picturesque village. The bus will return to Christchurch Airport by 3.45pm. Olives New Zealand has negotiated special accommodation rates with the Sudima Hotel, with other options also available.
