The impacts of COVID on exports have created concerns for exporters around airfreight capacity and market conditions into the future. Current airfreight capacity is significantly reduced in line with reduced international passenger travel, and those heavily reliant on airfreight are understandably concerned about the season to come.

COVID has also affected market development opportunities activities such as Taste Australia trade shows and impacted on considerations over international market priorities.

Presented by Hort Innovation International Trade team personnel, this webinar and panel discussion will explore the current short and long-term trade initiatives being implemented to support the horticulture sector through COVID-19 impacts.

Topics include modelling of the potential impacts of reduced airfreight capacity on the next season, Taste Australia virtual trade shows, an online international trade hub, and a renewed market access process to better support industry aspirations.

Details: 1pm AEST, 17 September 2020 via Zoom.
