The New Zealand Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards are arguably the premiere olive oil awards in New Zealand, with the highest level of judging and entry criteria. As such, all entries must have been certified as Extra Virgin Olive Oil at the time of entry. Producers wishing to enter the 2013 NZ EVOO Awards are reminded that oils must submitted for certification by 9 August to ensure that results are back in time for entry. Other important dates are: entries open – 12 August 2013; entries close – 6 September 2013; judging – 16-18 September; awards presentation – 28 September.
