New Australian Certified Organic (ACO) and Australian Organic Allowed Input logos are now available, with ACO logos for international and imported products still to come. The organisation says the new designs reduce the number of logos in circulation and, along with the removal of the requirement for separate producer and processor logos, simplify the system, for those who pack or process their own produce in particular. The new logos should be adopted at the next print run or change of printing plates, however all existing labels can be used first.
