Plans are coming together for the 2014 NZ EVOO Awards, with some great opportunities on offer to winners of this year’s competition. Firstly, Olives New Zealand (ONZ) will offer assistance to the 2014 Best in Class winners to enter nominated international competitions in 2015. Secondly, ONZ has received requests from international tasting panels for samples of NZ EVOO for their tasting workshops. This opportunity will be open to all Best in Class winners, with ONZ collating the samples and forwarding to the international panels. The Awards Dinner will be in Wellington on Saturday, 4 October, with further details TBA in the near future. We’ll keep you updated in Friday Olive Extracts as they’re announced.
