Olives New Zealand has received exceptionally strong support for its Focus Grove Project, backed up with pledges from both members and several non-members. In fact, pledges to date now exceed the 50% of project cost needed for matched funding, which has enabled ONZ to start the project immediately, rather than waiting for the Sustainable Farming Fund start date of July 2016. The first round of visits to the Focus Groves is being planned for before Christmas so watch out for a preliminary report. Anyone wanting to support this important project can still do so here.
