The key dates have been announced for the 2016 Olives New Zealand EVOO Competition, so lock them into your diaries. We’ll bring you updates in coming editions of Friday Olive Extracts.

Key dates: Entries open 15 August and close 16 September, ready for judging 3-5 October. Winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner in Wellington on 15 October, in conjunction with the annual national conference.

Note: this year’s format will be slightly different, with the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards presented towards the end of the ONZ National Conference on Saturday, 15 October. The major awards will then be presented in the evening at the Dinner.
