The Australian Institute of Horticulture is holding a three-day Congress on October 22-25 in Brisbane. Titled Living Soils, Healthy Plants, Scaping Nature, the event will focus on natural/biological methodologies in scaping soil for plants, choosing plants and assessing and mentoring plant health. Concepts will not be restricted to urban aesthetic gardens, but include native bushland, production, urban farming and address issues of selection of geographical and climatic regions . Key speakers will include Nutri-Tech Solutions CEO Graeme Sait, an international speaker on biological production and plant nutrition; and horticultural researcher, gardening and media personality Don Burke.
