Producers are wanted to take part in Queensland’s annual Rural Discovery Day, being held this year on Thursday, 22 May at the RNA Showgrounds. An educational day for primary students celebrating Queensland’s primary industries, the event has had olive industry representation in recent years by Amanda Bailey from The Olive Centre, who this year is calling on others to join her on the day. This is a great opportunity to showcase primary industries and products to city students in the one location, with over 912 students and 200 teachers already registered to attend this year’s event.  Closing date to register is today, May 2, so if you’d like to be involved contact Amanda ASAP on 0403 498 645 or amanda@theolivecentre.com.au.
