Today is a sad and thoughtful one for members of Olives South Australia, as they farewell their friends and colleagues Vince Scarfo and Luigi Polombo, lost at sea while fishing in February. OSA president Chris Tankey and fellow members attended a Memorial Service held this morning for the two men, reflecting the deep respect and great loss felt by the organisation and the wider olive industry both locally and nationally. Vince, Luigi and their dedicated contributions to the industry will be sadly missed and our thoughts, particularly today, are with the Scarfo and Polombo families.
