The Olives New Zealand Focus Grove Project Proposal has now been submitted to the Sustainable Farming Fund for consideration. The three year project aims to identify, trial and measure best practice in relation to improving outcomes on a group of subject groves, with the resulting information to then be disseminated to other growers so that they can all benefit and improve their productivity. Funding results will be announced in April 2014 and, if successful, will add to the substantial financial and in-kind contributions being made by Olives New Zealand and the focus groves.
