New Zealand producers continue to impress at international competitions, with D’Arc Olive Grove winning two silver medals in the recent Olive Japan competition and VIRTUO receiving a Grand Mention in the final results of the International ARMONIA competition. Olives New Zealand EO Gayle Sheridan said it was interesting to see that almost 28% of Olive Japan entries received ‘No Award’, with the highest number of these coming from the traditional Northern Hemisphere growing regions. Full details here.
VIRTUO’s shortlisting in the 45 oils for the International ARMONIA competition held in Rome was one of only four from the Southern Hemisphere, along with one oil from Chile and two from Australia.

Congratulations and well done to both producers.
