The recently established Modern Olives Laboratory Services has gained international recognition and received accreditation from the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA).
The service, based in Lara near Geelong, is an expansion of Modern Olives which is the largest specialist olive nursery and leading advisory company to Australia’s modern olive industry, covering all aspects related with project development, technical advice and applied research.
“The establishment of our new state of the art olive oil laboratory is another important step in our endeavour to offer the best possible technical advice,” Leandro Ravetti, Technical Manager of Modern Olives said.
“Our objective is not only to provide complete and certified analytical results but also to work together with growers and associations in applied research projects trying to solve their specific needs with an integrated approach” he said.
Laboratory manager Claudia Guillaume said the laboratory team was very excited to receive NATA accreditation for its compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.
“This achievement provides international recognition to our analysis for marketing purposes and particularly for our strict quality assurance programs during processing, storage and packaging in our new modern bottling facilities.”
