Experienced oil tasters are invited to register their interest in attending the Judges Oil Tasting Workshop on Sunday, 9 August 2009, with a view to participating in the 2009 Perth Royal Show Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition Judging Panel on the weekend of 22 and 23 August 2009.
Olives WA says it has been very fortunate to secure Richard Gawel, Australia’s foremost olive oil judge, as chief judge for the 2009 EVOO competition, and he is conducting the oil tasting workshop as a refresher for WA’s olive oil competition judges.
Members of the judging panel will receive complimentary invitations to the 2009 Olive Industry Awards Night to be held at the University Club of WA, on Thursday 10 September 2009.
