Olio Capitale 2014 will be held in Trieste, Italy from 7-10 March. The exhibition of quality extra virgin olive oils is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Trieste and will feature more than 200 producers, presenting their products to an audience which in 2013 comprised over 10,000 visitors from 26 countries. The event also includes demonstrations at the Olio Capitale Cooking School, tastings at the Oil Bar, thematic meetings, conferences and the annual Olio Capitale competition, with winners announced during the fair. The competition has a unique format, with oils selected by a professional panel and then evaluated by three different juries: professional tasters, chefs and restaurateurs, and a consumer panel.
