The Olives New Zealand Annual General Meeting will be held at the Brentwood Hotel, Wellington on Saturday, 22 March. All current financial members should have received the final Agenda and Voting Papers by now, and those not attending the AGM or wishing to vote in advance must return voting paper by 17 March. One nomination was received for the vice president’s position – Kay McKelvie from Northland. Kay is an experienced director, chair of Oliveti, the Northland olive growers association, and is co-owner of Arapiak Olive Estate. The Executive will welcome Kay’s involvement and the potential that this will bring for interaction with the broader Northland region. Minutes of the 2012 AGM are available on the ONZ website and the 2012-2013 Financial Statements will also be available shortly.
