The International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) is calling for World Board Members. Based in Bonn, Germany, IFOAM is the worldwide umbrella organisation for the organic agriculture movement across 117 countries, including Australia and New Zealand. The World Board (WB) members serve on a voluntary basis for a three-year term, with expenses to meetings covered. The expectation is that WB members will dedicate 10-15 days a year to IFOAM work, plus time for meetings and preparation and keeping up with current affairs across organic sector. WB members are expected to take on a specific portfolio or two and represent IFOAM from time to time. More information here
