Tatiara Olive Processors in Keith in the south-east of South Australia has extended its capacity with an order for an extraction plant from Westfalia Separator Australia.
Tatiara is one of Australia’s top five largest olive oil processors producing for numerous groves in South Australia and in the past Victoria and New South Wales, also with its Alfa Laval line.
And if the forecasts prove correct, groves in SA’s southeast are expected to produce a bumper crop this year.
The Westfalia plant is being installed and will be ready for this season and includes the hammermills, vertical malaxers, Decanter RCC 495 and Oil Polisher OSD 50 as well as pumps and accessories.
Westfalia Separator Australia will deliver the complete control system for the plant and the installation will be carried out by its service team together with local sub-suppliers.
