Entries are now open for the 2015 Hunter Olive Show, once again with Steve Mitchell at the helm. The only Australian show with categories for oils, table olives, tapenades and soaps, this is also the last regional show in NSW – and, organisers are proud to say, one of the most affordable. Key dates are: entries close Friday, 9 October – soaps 11 September; judging day is Saturday, 31 October, with presentations on Thursday, 19 November at Adina Vineyard and Olive Grove, Lovedale. Categories include: Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Mild, Medium & Robust Styles; Infused Olive Oil – Citrus Flavours & Other Flavours; Table Olives – Green & Black, Spiced or Flavoured Green & Black; Olive Specials; Olive Tapenade & Olive Spreads; Castille Soaps – Pure & With Additives; Olive Oil Blended Soaps.
