Planning is coming together well for the 2015 NZ EVOO Awards, with the first details just released. Early news includes: Flavoured Oils – two classes for flavoured oils have been added, with Bronze, Silver, Gold, Best in Class and Best Flavoured Oil in Show awards on offer. Flavoured oils from either the 2014 or 2015 harvests are eligible for entry; Judging Panel – this year includes two highly renowned Australians, both with specialist expertise in flavoured oils as well as EVOO, one judge from the Northern Hemisphere plus three from New Zealand’s pool of judges; Awards Dinner – will be on Saturday, 3 October in Wellington.
