Applications for the 2023 Churchill Fellowship program are set to open on March 1, with three Hort Innovation-supported fellowships, each valued at around $26,000, available this year.
The Fellowships aim to provide individuals with the opportunity to bring to life their idea for a research project that can benefit and transform Australian horticulture. Enabling participants to travel overseas to explore a topic or issue that they’re passionate about, Churchill Fellowships are all about learning globally to inspire locally.
Application for the program is open to all Australian citizens over 18: you don’t need to have an academic qualification – in fact you don’t need to have finished school – and you can do a Churchill Fellowship on any topic, provided there is a benefit to Australia and your community by you sharing your knowledge and/or skills.
