On Wednesday night Australia’s most expensive bottle of extra virgin olive oil was auctioned in Sydney, raising $10,000 for the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation. Packaged in a beautiful bespoke 1.5L magnum bottle, ‘Trio’ is a blend of three of the world’s best olive oils created by Cobram Estate’s Leandro Ravetti. All up the event raised $13,000 for the Foundation, and raised the profile of Australia’s quality, new season EVOOs to consumers, media and industry attendees.
