It’s time! … to promote the knowledge and use of Australian and NZ EVOO in the domestic food market. The ARMONIA A.NZ.SA Award 2014 Olive Oil Championship is the only olive oil competition that brings producers, chefs, foodies, food bloggers and consumers together to celebrate and learn about olive oil. This happens through “Armonie in the Kitchen- EVOO, Rice &…” a challenge where cooking students compete to prepare the best rice dish using EVOOs of Excellence selected from the ARMONIA competition’s winning oils. Evaluation is by a judging panel of famous chefs and journalists including: Giovanni Pilu, James Kidman, Stefano Manfredi , Lyndey Milan and Alessandro Pavoni. This is a great opportunity to introduce the “real quality” of local EVOO to restaurateurs and caterers across the country, and to have your oil promoted as a winner at the ARMONIA gala dinner and award ceremony in Sydney on 8 December. Entries for Australian and New Zealand EVOOs are now open and will close on 26 September 2014.
