Entries are now open for the 2015 Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards (RMFFA) Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Flavoured Oil competition. EVOO categories include micro-volume (50-199L), small volume (200-4999L) , single estate (min 200L) and commercial (min 5000L), along with a category for flavoured olive oils. Four Champion Trophies will be awarded in the competition, which is open to olive oil producers from across Australia. Organisers say the RMFFA presents a valuable opportunity for producers to benchmark their products, receive credible feedback from industry experts and establish credentials in Australia’s highly competitive fine food sector. Award winners also will have the opportunity to be part of the RMFFFA Trade Buyers event and the Winning Tastes Pavilion during the Royal Melbourne Show.
