Entries are now also open for the 2015 Gawler Show EVOO Competition, convened by Olives South Australia. Three EVOO classes and one Table Olives class will be judged, with 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes awarded in each, along with Best Exhibit EVOO Trophy and Encouragement Award. Entry is open to all oils from the 2015 harvest and, with an entry fee of just 50 cents, this is a great opportunity to have your oil peer appraised. Closing date for entries is August 7, with winners announced at the 2015 Gawler Show, being held at the Gawler Showgrounds from September 28-30 – more details here.
