Since Chinese consumers started entering the middle class, Australian brands have been relatively quick to make their goods and services available to them, and on recent Singles’ Days Australia has been the third and fourth highest ranking country for product origin. In 2017-2018 Australia’s exports to China were $123.3 billion, comprising 30.6% of total exports, and have surged 56% over the past five years thanks to Australia’s position as a pioneering, best practice and reliable exporter.
