On 1 July 2016 a new mandatory Information Standard under the Australian Consumer Law was introduced regulating country of origin information for food sold in Australia. This detailed and complex standard may be difficult to navigate, so Food South Australia, the Australian Institute of Science and Food Technology and the Australian Food and Grocery Council are presenting a workshop to help food producers determine what they need to know and do to be compliant.
