A new report prepared by the South Australian Department of State Development has highlighted the importance of the export sector to employment and the state’s economic future. In particular, small to medium businesses are excelling in growth export sectors including food production, with exports growth fuelled by an increasing global demand for our premium products. Recent international trade agreements have cleared the way for further growth. To ensure potential and existing exporters have the right support to expand into new markets, the Department of State Development has created a survey to better understand exporters’ needs, which will provide valuable feedback for both government and industry bodies.
