The Olive Wellness Institute (OWI) has created new Wellness@Home videos and content for the coming months, as we all find ourselves with extra time at home during social isolation. They’re keen to get the word out, and to share both the resources and the wellness benefits they provide.
Olive Wellness recipes
With home cooking being enthusiastically re-embraced across the globe, the OWI team has compiled a bunch of easy, delicious and healthy recipes from Advisory Panel members Dr Simon Poole and Associate Professor Mary Flynn. Covering breakfast and snacks through to lunch and dinner, all recipes showcase the versatility of our shared favourite ingredient – EVOO.

Meditation and yoga
And while the EVOO muffins are baking, you can fill more of that extra home time – and boost both your physical and mental health – with guided meditation led by yoga and mindfulness instructor Aisling Quigley. Put on your comfy clothes and try it out here.
Olive Wellness Podcasts
There’s also a new addition to the Olive Wellness Podcast series, which features world-leading experts covering a range of olive-related topics with a focus on olive science and knowledge.
The latest episode couldn’t be more timely. Coronavirus: the importance of eating well in and staying healthy is presented (from his home in Cambridge, England during Britain’s strict isolation measures) by physician Dr Simon Poole. Author of The Olive Oil Diet, Simon says now is a particularly important time to look after oneself by eating well, staying fit and maintaining mental health.
