After a very successful round of Focus Grove Field Days, the first formal report is now available on the Olives NZ website here. More than 130 growers attended the five field days, along with sponsors , observers from MPI and Plant and Food, and the ONZ EO.
The next round of Focus Grove Field Days is scheduled for March 2017 and will coincide with the release of the first Fact Sheet on Disease Management. Dates are:
Friday 3rd – Northland
Thursday 9th – Nelson
Friday 10th – Canterbury
Friday 17th – Hawke’s Bay
Friday 24th – Wairarapa.
Members are encouraged to also attend Field Days outside of their own region to observe the differing challenges and performances of the various Focus Groves.
