Hort Innovation has recently published the new Annual Investment Plans (AIPs) for the 2021/22 financial year. Covering all levy-paying industries, including Olives, the AIPs are now available for viewing on the Hort Innovation website.
The annual AIPs detail how investment decisions for each industry will be prioritised over a 12-month period and therefore how levy funds will be utilised.
These investment decisions are guided by the industry Strategic Investment Plans (SIPs) and prioritised based on potential industry impact, as well as availability of levy funds. The AIPs are developed with input from the industry Strategic Investment Advisory Panels (SIAPs), comprised of growers and other industry representatives as well as industry bodies and other key stakeholders.

This year’s AIPs have seen changes made to the layout of the documents. Hort Innovation is inviting feedback on the new layout, with growers encouraged to touch base with their Industry Strategic Partner (ISP) with ideas on how it can be improved.
