The Olive Wellness Institute’s series of webinars continues to garner enthusiastic participation, with health professionals embracing the opportunity to learn – and ask – more about the science and practices around the health benefits of olive products.

The fifth in the series is being held later this month, focussing on the topic of Nutrigenomics, the Mediterranean Diet and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Nutrigenomics, also known as nutritional genomics, is a science studying the relationship between the human genome, nutrition and health. People in the field work toward developing an understanding of how the whole body responds to a food via systems biology, as well as single gene/single food compound relationships.

Presented by experts Dr Flavia Fayet-Moore and Dr Carlotta Petti, this informative webinar will explain the connection between nutrigenomics, fats and the Mediterranean diet. As usual, the event has been developed specifically for healthcare professionals, therefore the content will delve deep into the science and practical significance of nutrigenomics.
