KPMG’s Julia Jones says targeting premium diets overseas is the way to grow New Zealand’s food economy. New Zealand food producers need to narrow their focus to the “five-star hotel” market if they want to grow their business. That was the message being touted to a packed auditorium during the ASB Perspective 2025 panel discussion involving some of the most influential people in the country’s food industry.

Certification documentation will shortly be emailed out to all ONZ grower members, with submissions open from 29 May onwards. An increase in the Oil Testing Service fee means, after maintaining the price of certification for the past five years, ONZ has had to also increase the 2017 certification fee from $242 per oil to $250, including GST.
