The AOA will soon be disseminating a survey regarding the current R&D priorities, aiming to ensure that these are still relevant to levy payers today. CEO Lisa Rowntree said the plan was originally compiled in 2009, and in order to ensure that the IAC are making the right decisions, it is important to know that the plan is still relevant to current growers’ priorities. The survey will be conducted online, providing the fastest, most inclusive and most economical method of gathering the information, and will take approximately five minutes to complete. Rowntree urges all levy payers to take part: “When you receive the email, I urge you to take five minutes and complete the survey, as this will influence where your levy money will be spent.”
