Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) is currently offering professional development scholarships, open to women across all areas of the horticulture sector. It’s a busy time for many, so the period for 2023 program applications has recently been extended.
WLA supports women at all levels across all sectors and industries. Their career-defining leadership programs bring together a focus on applied learning with the latest in leadership theory and practice. The program is based on the belief that advancing gender equity, especially in leadership, is central to creating a more fair and inclusive society.
Scholarships of $1000-$7000 for four leadership development courses are available specifically for women in the Farming and Agriculture Sector:
- Advanced Leadership Program for senior and executive leaders;
- Executive Ready for mid-level managers;
- Leading Edge for early career and aspiring leaders;
- Impact Program for women outside formal leadership roles.
