The release of the 2023/24 Australian Horticulture Statistics Handbook is not far off and you’re invited to a sneak preview, with a webinar by the compilers being held on Thursday, February 20.
Published annually by Hort Innovation as a resource for Australian growers and horticulture stakeholders, the new Handbook provides insights into the trends and changes shaping the Australian horticulture industry during 2023-24.
With data covering 75 distinct categories, attendees will be given a guide on how to use the Handbook, as well as an overview of a wide range of topics, including:
- production volumes and values for fruit, vegetables, nuts, nursery and turf;
- changes to international trade patterns;
- distribution of horticulture throughout the fresh supply chain.
The one-hour session will include an overview from Hort Innovation’s Chief Executive Officer, Brett Fifield, followed by key industry trends from Head of Industry Insights Lucy Noble and analysis from compiler Freshlogic’s Managing Director, Martin Kneebone.
