Ongoing quality improvement is one of the aims of the industry’s Strategic Investment Plan and R&D priorities, and the Australian International Olive Awards (AIOA) is one of the industry’s major avenues for promoting that quality improvement.

The AIOA prides itself on judging excellence, with all entries assessed and awarded on merit, and all entrants receiving comprehensive judging feedback. Offering the opportunity to benchmark your products against those of your peers, entry also provides invaluable information to guide your grove, production and storage practices along the path to ‘industry best’.

The entry period for the 2023 Australian International Olive Awards (AIOA) is currently open, with only three weeks now remaining to the closing date of 1 September. If you haven’t entered your products yet, don’t miss the chance to be named Best EVOO, Flavoured Oil or Table Olive of Show from a growing field of high-calibre international entries.

Other benefits for entrants include:

  • Successful judging also provides eligibility for OliveCare® certification – consumers’ guarantee of product quality and integrity;
  • Unprecedented opportunity for international recognition of winning products and producers;
  • Inclusion in the official AIOA Results Book, an oustanding marketing tool for all medal and award winners;
  • Professional images of award-winners taken at the AIOA Presentation Dinner on 27 October, available for your marketing and promotional use;
  • The opportunity to purchase high-resolution professional product images for your marketing use, at only $35 plus GST.

The closing date of 1 September will be here before we know it, so enter here now, and we’ll see you at the presentation awards in October – hopefully on the winners’ stage!
