This year’s AOA National Olive Conference & Trade Exhibition is heading southwards again, with the 2024 event being held in the regional city of Bendigo, Victoria from 23-25 October.
Bringing together growers/producers, horticultural and business professionals, and service providers for three days of invaluable knowledge sharing and networking, this year’s program includes:
- Plenary sessions
- EVOO blending workshop
- Trade Exhibition
- Field tour – Wednesday 23 (optional – additional ticket required)
- Conference Dinner – Thursday 24
- 2024 Australian International Olive Awards Presentation Dinner – Friday 25 (optional – additional ticket required)
Being held at the All Seasons Resort Hotel Bendigo, the plenary program will feature sessions across a wide range of topics, providing information relating to olive growing and production, and running a viable olive business.
The Trade Exhibition will also be held at the Conference venue, and will operate throughout the two plenary days in an area immediately adjacent. All catering will be served within the space, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to speak with the experts about your grove and business needs.
The Field Day will precede the plenary days and will visit two award-winning olive businesses at Boort: the large-scale Cobram Estate grove and processing facility in the morning, and boutique organic operation Salute Oliva in the afternoon. The field day is ticketed separately and numbers are strictly limited, so if you’re keen to go please book your place as soon as possible.
We’ll bring you full plenary program details in the September edition of Grove Innovation but you can find out more about the event and register here.
The National Olive Conference & Trade Exhibition is facilitated by the Australian Olive Association, partially funded by Hort Innovation using the Olive R&D levy, with in-kind contributions from the Australian Olive Association and funding from the Australian Government. The event is also supported by a range of industry sponsors and exhibitors, the Melbourne Convention Bureau and the Victorian Government.
