The annual Montalto Abundance Olive Festival is being held this year on July 4-5, celebrating the new season’s olive oils with food, wine, live music, friends and “all things olive”. Along with olive oils and other products, there’ll be a live cooking demonstration, an olive soap making class and, complementing all the olive oil, a wine and cheese matching session. Other highlights include the olive pit spitting competition (always highly contested) and Sunday’s Abundance Lunch, a shared long table feast in the Montalto dining room.
