Olives SA and Bald Hills Olive Grove are holding a free demonstration of mechanical pruning of olive trees, especially for new entrants to the industry looking for more information and ways to manage their groves. The mechanical pruning demonstration will be carried out by George Konidis of Fleurieu Peninsular Olive Press, with an additional opportunity to join in hand pruning (under supervision).
The event is being held on Sunday, 14 August at Bald Hills Olive Grove, 103 Bald Hills Rd, Nairne, starting at 10.30am. Members of Olives South Australia will be there to answer other questions about the industry.
