Want to learn how to make great soil? The Organic Living Soils workshop will help you understand all the important ingredients that go into creating healthy and fertile soils: compost, compost tea and biofertiliser. This hands-on workshop is also all about understanding the soil food web and the creatures that are fundamental for productive farms and gardens. Participants will learn how to use a microscope to identify bacteria, fungi, protozoa and nematodes. The workshop will be presented by organic agronomy adviser and organic auditor Owen Gwilliam, and organic farmer and horticulturist Paul Taylor, and runs from June 27 – July 1 at The Pocket, NSW (30 minutes from Byron Bay).
