Harvest 2016 is getting closer … thanks to all the small-batch processors who have contacted us with their details; they’re now on our register, which we’re referencing already to connect processors with people wanting to utilise their services this year. The register will soon have even greater reach, as we’re taking it online to be accessible 24/7 by subscribers through our Olivebiz website.
The FOE and Olivegrower team regularly have enquiries about small-batch processors – both ‘home’ olive growers wanting to produce their own oil and growers with reduced crops. Our register aims to include all processors willing and able to process small batches of olives, so please send your details to editor Gerri Nelligan at wordsync@bigpond.com. Please include contact and pricing details, minimum quantities required, and whether you will crush individually or on a “mix and percentage” basis. We’ve had a great response so far, and have already been able to refer growers to processors, so send us your details – it could mean valuable additional work for your business.
